Khadija’s Kitchen Soul Food- White Rice 🍚
This is a double cup recipe to make double the quantity of white rice.
Normally, I would use 1 cup of rice 2 cups of water. Today I’m using 2 cups of white rice and 4 cups of water and pour inside pot.
I uses 4 teaspoons of butter, a dash of salt and pepper. Bring the water to a boil and add your 2 cups of rice 🍚.
Set your timer for 19 minutes until its cooked fluffy and it doesn’t look or taste mushy. Now, it’s ready to serve. I usually freeze your meals for the week. Take them out and heat them in less than 5 minutes. Remember your meals are pre-cooked and well done. Enjoy!
